"Rise from the Ashes "

"Rise for the Ashes" is a christian based business and blog Founded by Alexandria Maddox in January 2013. Its not just a statement but a life-style. Rise from the Ashes means that we die to ourselves daily and pick up our cross for Christ. I offer mentorship to teens, and young adult women. I blog to help women around the world draw near to Christ. I do speaking engagements for communties all over the country. I study and use the bible to help myself and other women die to their desires in a world where people say certain lifestyles are ok to live but God's word says different. We are each other accountabiliy partners. To live freely in Christ means that we die to our flesh daily. Romans 6: 11-14 (NASB)¹¹ Even so consider yourselves to be dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus.¹² Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its lusts, ¹³ and do not go on presenting ^]the members of your body to sin as ^]instruments of unrighteousness; but present yourselves to God as those alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. ¹⁴ For sin shall not be master over you, for you are not under law but under grace.

We live under a convenant of grace and no matter how many times we fall God is right there ready to accept us back in. So arise out of your ashes and birth something new!!!!!!

This blog is geared mainly for woman of all ages but I don’t mind men chiming in. I want to write and connect with women around the world. I want to share intimate insights of my life with you guys, I want to pray with you all, give Godly advice, discuss issues that we all struggle with, and most of all spread the GOSPEL OF JESUS. I want this blog to be a space where we can freely express ourselves and out pour our hearts to Christ. This IS A TOTAL NON JUDGEMENT ZONE.
